Come view the enchanting glass masks on display through the end of December. This special exhibit, by artist Jan Golden, features a unique blend of materials, such as shell, bone, feathers and wire along with glass and metal to create a mystical experience.

Jan Golden was classically trained in sculpture at St. Andrews Presbyterian College. After college she designed products and packaging; eventually leaving to start her own business in design and home renovation. Jan embraced glass fusing in 2006 while learning the intricacies of this difficult medium. She soon realized that she could combine other skills and materials with the glass and achieve something a lot more personal. It is here in the mask series that Jan is exploring new ways to bring out the many universal personalities.

Art by Kelly Teasley

7:00 pmto10:00 pm

We are pleased to show the artwork of Kelly Teasley at the Inman Park location for the month of October. Kelly is an Atlanta based artist living in Grant Park and co-owner of Youngblood Gallery & Boutique. Her work features small format drawings and paintings with text together on paper or wood, framed in unique vintage painted frames.

About her work, Kelly says, “I like to write a lot on my drawings-don’t ask me what they say –because I don’t know. I usually write them in the moment and have a hard time reading my scribbles later. Some of the drawings are more personal and have a story, some are just fun reoccurring characters/illustrations that find themselves in my work a lot.”

Please join us for a reception on Friday, October 26 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

This group of photographs were captured with his arsenal of film cameras that range from high precision cameras to cheap plastic cameras.

Please join us for a closing reception Saturday, September 29 from 7:00pm-10:00pm.
